Percy F. Frankland was a British chemist, the son of chemist Edward Frankland
Percy Faraday Frankland CBE FRS was a British chemist, the son of chemist Edward Frankland. Percy Frankland was Lecturer and Demonstrator, President of the Chemical Society at the Royal School of Mines in Chemistry, applied bacteriology to water analysis, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1891 06. 1882 Frankland married Grace, the daughter of Joseph Toynbee worked with both Percy, received an honorary doctorate in 1902 02 from the University of St Andrews, was awarded a CBE in 1920. 1882 Frankland died at Loch Awe in 1946.
The couple co-authored papers on other microorganisms and bacteria. The University of Manchester Library holds the main collection of Frankland.
