Lorenzo De Medici Sweat was a U.S. Representative from Maine. Education and Early life was born in Maine in Parsonsfield. Sweat attended Bowdoin College, Harvard Law School returned to Maine, married Margaret Jane Mussey in 1849, did have not children. Sweat held various local offices, Portland City Solicitor served as a member of the Maine State Senate, was defeated in 1864 for reelection, was later a delegate to the Union National Convention. Paris was adapted later as the Portland Museum of Art for use.
