The old centre of town contains a number of medieval buildings. The twelfth century Agen Cathedral dedicated to Saint Caprasius. The Saint Hilaire church dedicated to the theme of the Holy Trinity. The Fine Arts museum contains artefacts, sculptures and furniture from prehistoric times onwards. The collection contains also a large number of works by artists. The municipal theatre presents occasionally classical concerts and theatre. Rugby is extremely popular in SU Agen in the local team and the town.
The Gare d'Agen connects Agen as Périgueux with Bordeaux and Toulouse, is from Toulouse around an hour. The Agen Airport is used also for leisure flying and business.
